It was fun to see both Mark and Daniel on Facebook this evening. Mark, that was a sweet video of you and Emery. So I think that makes four of us if including Greg. Wow, aren't we something, getting on Facebook. I guess we from the older generation are the latest generation to get involved in this newer phenomena.
I can write a new post but I'm unable to comment. And, I continue to forget to find out if there is something I can do about it. Any ideas, let us know.

I'm NOT on facebook!. Well I guess I am. But I did not sign up because I want to accumulate "friends" and "chat".
The only reason I did it was because someone in our church who was on facebook and was "friends" with Peter and Jonathan was telling us things about them that we had never heard.
For example - Jonathan has a girlfriend!!!
I couldn't see a picture of this "girl" unless I signed up. I don't know this whole "facebook" thing. It leaves me confused and nervous. I guess I'm getting old.

I didn't say "all of my friends". I didn't even say "one of my friends".
All I said is I joined because one person in church was learning things about Jonathan that I didn't know.
Regarding your question about the family blog, there hasn't been much participation for months and months so I have to admit I too am wondering if it's still a viable venue for family news and notes or if people have moved on.
But there have been spurts of high and low participation in the past, perhaps this is just a phase?
I still like the blog. I even remember to look in a couple times a month! Facebook hasn't taken much of my time yet; but I could spend time easily; like a couple days ago i showed up in some pictures from Bethany College days and started a whole string of comments from folks 'friends' I hadn't heard of seen in years. LOL!
I still like the blog as well, and hate to see it stop. As far as Facebook, I'm hesitant to give too much information since anyone and their brother are free to check it out. It might be fun to have contact from someone from high school but haven't gone that far. I agree, I don't know how much time I want to spend on it...I like our e Round Robin better. It doesn't take as much time.
I just realized my user name had changed from grandmajean to our email address. I had forgotten that. That is why I haven't been able to comment for such a long time. Oh well.
I have not yet joined the bandwagon - I am not yet a Facebook member. But, I've read the book! I was sure I would join after reading Accidental Billionaires, but it didn't quite whet my appetite enough. I did discover that the main Facebook founder is not a very nice guy though.
My hard drive died yesterday... It's not fun, but it would be a lot worse if I didn't have such a great neighbor. He had an extra tower laying around the house and he just gave it to me. It works just fine.
I don't know yet if I'll be able to get anything off the old hard drive. I do have an external hard drive, but my last back-up was months ago.
Do any of you still have the brainteaser I sent out two or three weeks ago where I forgot to use BCC? I need that email to get the addresses of everyone I send that to so I'd appreciate if one, or all, of you could send it to me.
Heidi told me to just play around with facebook and then i would learn how to use it. I do not understand poke and tag. What does LOL mean?? It might be easier to download photo albums although when i tried downloading about 10 pictures my computer crashed, so i did about 5 at a time plus i updated something to make it work better.
Jean, to answer your question, there is a small checkbox near the orange publish your post button that you have to checkmark in order to publish your post or photos.
