grandmajean

I'm going to break the silence. Is everyone as busy as us. We are doing well and are blessed. Ericka just received an answer to prayer this evening. Continue to keep us all in your prayers. Ericka loves correspondence or even just a quick call, an I love you.

Our friends and family have been so dear to us. God knows all our needs. There is definitely spiritual warfare going on in our church. Our pastor is doing so well since his accident over a year ago but now his wife is suffering severe back pain. She is going through some testing to try to identify the cause. We have a great God and know He will work out everything for his good.

I changed my password tonight. That is what I have had trouble with, so we'll see. Hope to hear some friendly chatter, soon!

We're doing good in Lakeville, Emily and Amy are visiting Denise's folks and California currently; Josie is at High Tech Institute studying to be a massage therapist; Katie is preparing for a visit at home in a couple weeks before she's off to Guatemala; Denise quit Kohl's and is taking some time off before job searching/career changing; Greg is enjoying his new job, new schedule working 3 twelve hour shifts and being off the rest of the week. Love ya all, we'll try to keep the friendly chatter more frequent.

Greg, sounds like you have a nice schedule at your new job!! 4 days off each week... I just finished working for three weeks with only 2 days off. Lois Ann went down to Washington to help with a wedding and also to see Heidi and John. She will be home on Saturday so it is clean-up time now. Holly has moved down to Washington to help out by renting from John and Heidi.
Christoffer is still up in Anchorage and doing well. He is a journeyman electrician now.

Were any of you family members near the bridge when it collapsed? We're looking for pictures in the blog. (Lois took the camera with her on the trip, that's my excuse for the blogging slowdown.)

Kurt drove under the bridge about 15 minutes before it collapsed! There is a road near the railroad track where the railroad car was hit. He works about 4 blocks from the bridge. Neither of us knew it collapsed until about 8pm. We went down to gawk on Sunday, but they've got it secured quite a ways away. Can't see much until they open the 10th street bridge again.
