Hurricane Dean strengthened to a Category 2 storm in the Atlantic as it neared islands in the eastern Caribbean. Hurricane warnings were issued for some islands, and a tropical storm watch was issued for the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

I couldn't help but notice that they kept referring to Dean as a "Monster".
Dean, how do you feel having a hurricane named after you?
Well, compared to the wimpy hurricane Dean back in 1999--or whenever it was--at least this one has some oomph! I'm sorry that it was a killer though.
