Our newest member is growing up fast
A couple weeks ago Dean, Kurt, and Jose joined my parents and I for a Sunday dinner. Before eating we ventured out to a nearby park. It's amazing how much fun slides and swings can be when you have a one year old along. Jose had all of our attention as he laughed, observed his new surroundings, drooled and all. Here are a few snapshots of the day.

Here's some advice. Stay away from merry go rounds and things that spin and spin and spin until you feel nausous and your head hurts - even though when you were 25 you could do those things.
hey, I turn 25 tomorrow. Pretty unbelievable, so I think I'm safe going on the merry go round for a few more years. My dad and Uncle Dean on the other hand might be wise to take your advice.
Happy birthday to you! I shouldn't generalize the dizzy thing. My cousin Bob Lindman is 6 years older than me. He and his wife take vacations where they visit the largest and most terrifying roller coasters in the nation. And I know for a fact that Dean credits the tilt-a-whirl with improving his hearing problems.
I haven't gone on whirling things for years. Ever since I was a child and got sick to my stomach on almost everything that moved...I don't go on roller coasters and things like that. I love things that go high like Ferris wheels and sky rides. It is fun to have an excuse to go play on playgrounds again when you have little children to care for. I am most thankful that I haven't gotten sick to my stomach in cars, planes, trains like I used to.
The pictures of Jose are great!
Thank you so much for posting the pictures! I haven't logged in for a while. And I have been amiss at posting photos. This guy has been a lot of fun. He's not talking yet, but we're jotting something new that he does almost every day. Today he "sang along" with me at nap-time.
