Mount Redoubt Ready to Blow!

According to AOL Mt.Redoubt is getting ready to blow its top. According to Google Earth Mount Redoubt is 53 miles south west of Mark and Lois Ann's house. According to me, I would suggest to Mark and Lois Ann, "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

The last time Redoubt did it's thing was 20 years ago, 1989-1990. I remember taking CBS home from hockey at night and hearing some loud explosions and seeing lightning. It was thunder and possibly eruptions. When the wind blew our direction ash would fall like dusty snow. The ash clouds were very strange... black and they looked like lots of moguls on a ski hill. I think Mt. Sinai was a volcano - Ex.19.18-20; does anyone know if it is? Psalm 18.7-15 also has a good description of a volcano.

I used to work about 10 miles away from Mt. Redoubt at Drift River which stored oil and had a loading platform to load tankers. It caused some flooding and changed the river some and caused some damage. Here is the official website which is currently not working so great because of all the publicity http://www.avo.alaska.edu/
If it starts working you will have to look at some of the photos.
