Keeping Touch

Sorry, it's been awhile since I posted. It wasn't evident at the time but a lot has happened. Since I don't have the time to post it all now and also since we are woefully diminishing in posts, I choose to chronicle this dizzy summer in a number of posts and hopefully encourage others to do the same.

My last entries mentioned North High School Ultimate frisbee was 3rd in State, and Jonathan's graduation from high school.

This entry will chronicle an event many of you have experienced before me - one of our children left home perhaps forever. Peter, through the help of our friends Peg and Sid Burkey, got a surveying job in Hutchinson Kansas

I scoured our photos to find a good picture to chronicle this momentous event and could find nothing until 2008. This may be the last photo of our family intact.

Now that we have digital cameras it is easy to take thousands of photos, but it is still extremely hard to get everyone to cooperate for good group photos. Besides that it is hard to get everyone together in the first place. And it is tough to get that timer to work and run back into picture frame. This is a great family photo!!!
