Has anyone had any contact with Carl and Joyce in the last few years? They're getting up there in years. We used to see their son Lonny in Duluth in those years when we traveled more frequently. He worked at the Mall at that time.
My guess is Cassidy's in Hinkley. I don't know what they would have been doing there but Mom and Dad liked to go there.
Carl and Joyce have come to my mind too, but I haven't heard from them since Mother's funeral.
I have no idea where this picture was taken but I'd doubt Cassidys if for no other reason than it looks like they are celebrating Grandma's birthday. Why would they do that halfway to the Twin Cities. And if so, why was that group coming down here together?
I sure hope Paul hasn't presented a puzzle with no answer? But I can't see anything in the picture that presents a solution.
