On the 4th we usually go to the McGahan picnic. As you can see there is lots of food! Some years we go to Seward to watch the Mt. Marathon race.
Here we are playing volleyball. It was hard to beat the Broussards who play almost every evening, but the Minnesotans did good. You can see Steve in the orange shirt toward the right. He was one of our best players.
When we arrived home after the picnic, the dining area had been flooded from a leaky valve and maybe the washing machine.
Lots of helpers vacuumed up lots of water. Believe it or not, we think the carpet is going to be OK. It dried out after several days and Lois Ann was able to get out water marks by shampooing. At first some actually used a shovel to scoop up the water. The camera battery was dead and missed that photo.
