Ah, yes, Sheep Mountain... I assume this was one of the highlights of the trip. What would you say were the top three highlights of the trip?
I'll have to think about that. Others should respond too. But two points here:
1. We climbed two mountains and neither Jo nor I went to the top of either. We went at our own pace for a few miles and turned back when the knees felt wobbly.
2. The "boys" were thrilled when they came down from Sheep Mountain. But after climbing with Mark up Exit Glacier into the vast Harding Ice Fields, they said that Sheep Mountain paled in comparison. Sigh!
1. I liked Sheep Mtn better than Exit Glacier.
2. Seeing Mark & family and their cozy log home.
3. Seeing Denali by the light of the "midnight sun".
