Evidences of Summer's End
The raspberries are now ripe and ready for pickers. Do you see the fireweed flower? This photo is a few weeks old and there are no flowers left on the fireweed now, and that means snow is coming soon!
Lois Ann and i are putting up cement siding. We made a mistake on the Tyvek.
Holly and myself climbing up the scaffold. When you start projects at the end of summer they go so much faster.
The fair is another sign of the end of summer. This is called "Grilled Salmon".
This one is called "Board of Fish & Game". The other side has a "snaggle" (scrabble) board.

Just about everything you wrote makes sense if I squint but when I open my eyes I'm totally confused.
What is "cement siding"?
What is the relationship between a "fair" (what fair?) and the photo?
And what in the world is that last photo about?
Am I the only one in the dark here? Or is this Mark the "artist" being intentionally obscure?
OK here is the rest of the story. Now the raspberries that i didn't get to quick enough are freezing in the early morning because we are starting to get frost. The fireweed plants are all cotton like now - i will send a photo. In 2 the Tyvek is upside down, hopefully it still does the job. We finished putting up the siding just yesterday on this side. Yes the siding is made out of cement and it lasts forever? and is fireproof. It cuts with a skilsaw and regular blade. 4 + 5 are salmon sculptures from the state fair in Palmer on labor day weekend. Every year these plastic salmon are decorated by artists and put on display all over Alaska and at the fair.
