JaNae's (Roseau's) one act play was awarded first place last Saturday at sections in Stephen MN. This means they go to State - they'll be performing at the College of St Catherine in St Paul this coming Friday morning - more specifically, at the O'Shaughnessy.The play they'll be performing is called Blues. It's an incredibly relevant play dealing with homelessness and poverty. Yeah, it's pretty depressing, but they do depressing well. Ahhhhhh yes. That red-haired guy on the right is the one who assaulted Janae last year? I almost forgot about him. And you say he's coming to The Cities? Perhaps it's time for the Dark Uncles to strike again!
Hope that the "kids" did well. It would have been fun to see the play. Ralph and I took the grand kids to Duluth to spend a night in a motel and visit great grandma Lorraine. We'll often try to travel when Gwyn is off of preschool but we've had to take her out several times just to get away. We had a good trip.
