Last night Redoubt blasted off as we were sleeping 5 times! There is a link in the title to the official AVO website. Here is a link to the Anchorage Daily News article. Also here is a link to the weather service so we know which way the ash is being carried by the winds.
Here is a photo taken on the 15th from the end of our driveway; you can see a small steam/gas plume.
Here is another photo taken from beach at Captain Cook Park. Holly and i were walking around there on the 19th. You can see a plume coming off the right side of the mountain. We did not feel anything when it erupted last night. I remember thunder and lightning from the 89/90 eruptions.

Did you hear or feel anything, or did you just read about it the next day? Also. . .if you had followed my advice a few weeks ago and run for your lives you would be safe and sound right now and probably about halfway to Whitehorse.
Speaking of natural disasters - the Roseau River is at flood stage again. I just got home from a sandbagging party. You can see from the National Weather Service web site (http://snipurl.com/efrj6) that the peak is expected to be two or three feet short of the 2002 record. Pray that their prediction is correct this time... and that I won't have any cool pictures to post.
Paul, did you have any flooding? I looked at your graph and it looks like the level is coming down.
Thank you for praying. The river is now back below flood stage. We came through without any flooding this time.
We were just ashed for the first time this series of eruptions at about 4:30. Just a dusting. They have been calling for winds of 70-80 mph near Anchorage. The volcano erupted twice this afternoon 1:40 and 3:30. There are a lot of photos on the AVO website; some from space, some that show lightning during last nights eruption, some of Drift River oil storage where i worked in 1976.
