Hidalgo from Fidalgo

We are down in Anacortes, which is the main town on Fidalgo Island, visiting John and Heidi for Christmas. Here are a few photos of their dog. His name is Hidalgo.

Christoffer and Holly on the edge.

Here you can see that he is a towing machine. When you take him for a walk he pulls with all of his might. Notice the tension on the line and the collar choking him. If anyone knows how to train dogs, please let us know how to get him to walk normally.

PS MERRY CHRISTMAS

When he walks normally, say "Gooood boooy, Gooood boooy". When he walks abnormally, say "NO!".

Just a sentence to see if this works. My comment this afternoon didn't work.

I said,"merry Christmas and Happy New Year" to you Alaskaners. I was looking more closely at the picture with Christoffer and the dog. Look closely at Christoffer. He looks like Daniel! We don't know how to post a comment on the blog anymore...other than this way.

Jean, We started using a new upgraded version of the blog software. You need to go to the "Blogger Dashboard" by clicking on the "B" at the upper left of the window. If you don't see an option to move to the new version, click on the option to create a new post. You should get instructions on how to set yourself up in the new software. It will make you set up a new "Google" account. (Google owns Blogger). Once you run through this process, you will be able to post again.
