Emery is pretty excited about dandelions. Way more excited than me.

Ok, I understand how a volcano could be "typically Alaskan" and of course the moose. But in what way is grand daughter Emery "typically Alaskan"? I think Mark may have some kind of a "fixation" on Emery and has lost touch with reality. But, what do I know?
I was trying to make dandelions look exciting.
It is definitely easy to have a fixation on the granddaughter. She's beautiful. We know exactly what that is like! Out granddaughters still like to bring me dandelions but now it's especially because we don't like them!
