I surely wouldn't have been the one! I'm the one that took up running long jump at 40 and tore the anterior cruciate ligament in my left leg!
George passed away quite a few years ago. I haven't heard about Shirley. I have had contact with their daughter Janet within the last few years. She lives in Northome, MN.
