Hey Greg! Tell me a little more about Josie. I may have heard it before and forgotten (highly likely) but I'm not sure I ever heard where Josie was heading. North Central? Is that Chicago?
We joke about it, but six years ago I watched church friends go into a few years of mild depression as their children left. It is, a little, like a death in the family. My strategy for avoiding that was to begin anticipating the loss years before it happened. I'm not sure I'd recommend that strategy,
And then there are others I know who are like, "I can't wait til so-and-so leaves! After 18 years of slavery we're finally free!" I can understand that, but it certainly is not the attitude of Jo or me.
