Back in those days of 1957 you didn't need vans or child safety seats. You just throw the kids in the trunk and take off. We had fun in the trunk because we didn't know any better. Also, Mom and Dad could have a peaceful ride this way with the children out of sight, out of mind.

I did have a happy birthday.
I didn't know we couldn't take vacations?! I haven't been here for a week, I noticed this morning. Does that mean I don't get paid? Yikes, I didn't know this was so serious!
