There are those reading this blog who might think brother Paul has been unfairly picked on because he is the baby. Believe me it has nothing to do with his age. Just look at this picture if you have any doubts. On the left is sister Jean looking ever so nice with crossed legs, bright smile and the stylish (for the times) "Eloise Withrow" hairdo. And then, on the right we have little brother Paul. . .well I could go into detail here but as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words".

I clicked on the photo to enlarge it and noticed that Jean has a cast on her wrist. What is the story behind that cast? Also, for all of you photographers, it is not safe to have your subjects sitting in the middle of the dirt road! Paul i guess i like the velcro clue best because it is one of the only ones that i can understand.

I would like to tell you I broke my arm in a graceful way but that isn't true. Dad said I fell like a girl. I was chasing after a ball wearing sandals on 17th Ave. E. I like the scenery. Eng's neighbor, a nurse said she didn't think I had broken my arm. After rather intense pain for several hours I convinced Mom and Dad to bring me in. Nothing serious but it was fractured. The hairstyle was Mom's idea because she didn't think I could care for long hair with a broken arm...I hated it.

It's been quite awhile since Dan has posted any early photos of himself...

Mark, sometimes I include explanations for the clever clues and other times I don't. I wish I would've this time - you weren't the only one who didn't understand them.
1. Polish in this case rhymes with 'tallish'. Think: spit and polish.
2. The letter 'c' in indictment is silent, or never heard, when pronouncing 'indictment'.
3. Goslings, or baby geese, get more down, or feathers, with time.
4. Think of shower as rhyming with 'slower'. A sonogram shows a baby.
5. A 'leek' is something one eats.

The GOSLING clue was the most popular.
