When Lois Ann and i did the Skagway, Whitehorse, Dawson City trip in 2002 we saw the 5-finger rapids from above. The gravel road from Whitehorse to Dawson goes near the rapids and there is a nice hiking trail down to see them.

A few weeks ago I used Google Earth to retrace our trip down the Teslin and Yukon rivers to Dawson.
Among the Lindstrom slides are pictures of Dawson in 1956. I'll post a few sometime soon.
