Guide to Digital Photography

This is not an ad; it is a recommendation. This will help all of us bloggers, and those who want to be bloggers, to learn all about digital photography. It is on the newstands now and is only 9.95 so take a close look. The pull out middle section shows how to stitch several pictures together and get the wide panorama look. Also a good section on getting those photos on your computer. The final step is to put the best photos on the blog...

If you could take several photos of the book, stitch them together, and post them on the blog, it would really help all of us.

"Take Great Digital Photos" sounds more like Popular Photography or even Popular Mechanics than National Geographic. (Is Popular Mechanics and Popular Science even around anymore?)

Jay Leno writes for one of those magazines about cars every once in a while. He has quite a collection antique autos. He is a good writer.

One of the contributors to the Digital Pictures is a national geographic favorite, Jim Brandenburg. As you may recall, he went to UMD and graduated with Steve. He and Steve did their senior art gallery show together.

Speaking of Steve, where is the weekly cartoon?
