The reason I'm posting it is because of the food. I've looked at this every which way and I still can't figure out what in the world we're eating. I've gotten no further than a guess that the red thing is a cherry.
Who really has the old snail mail round robin? Let's finally forgive him? and move on once again into the new instantaneous E-lectronic age with the new and improved E Round Robin. I will guess it is unsplit banana split. Looks like 1/2 a banana standing up with a cherry on the end. Looks like a bowl of chocolate sauce, and looks like some of the dishes have carmel sauce on the ice cream.
I think it's time to pull the Lindman 'kids' into the discussion... Dan, you must have some email addresses.
Good ideas. Regarding the half banana theory. . .what's holding the banana up?
What I would like to know is were you in Alaska? Was it Christmas time or Valentines? Why are you celebrating without Carl and Florence? Mom and Signe have corsages and Mary (is she the oldest girl) is wearing red. You got me on the dessert!
We're in Alaska. It's the Lindman's house. The Lindmans and us were always celebrating something or other together. That's not Signe, that's Florence - the youngest of the Lindstroms. I didn't notice the corsages. (Hmmmm?) The oldest girl is Barbara (Steve's age?) the youngest, in front, with the toppled desert is Mary who is one year younger than me.
So Carl is taking the picture and he was sitting next to Helge...
It almost looks like a pineapple ring... except I don't see one on Florence's plate...
Maybe it's Mothers' Day and the guys made dessert!
That's not a bad theory. The whole thing has a kind of phallic thing going.
Now I see Florence and realize my mistake. By the way, didn't you have a picture like the one on the wall behind you Dan? I really can't imagine how you can tell what that dessert is even after enlarging the picture. Are my eyes failing me faster than you others? I recommend a tool I wear when on the computer called "peekers". I put them on inside my glasses and they make it all clearer. Ralph thought a new screen would help but things were still fuzzy. I don't squint looking through my bifocals any more!
