I think Paul told us about Google Earth a year ago or so. I still haven't checked it out.
What I'm curious about is this. Are these real time sattelite photos, or (more likely)photos on record. And if on record then how old. e.g. is this a photo of our house from ten or fifteen years ago?
Oops. Alaska robin is not curious about real time sattelite photos. Sir Dancelot is the one who is wondering. I entered the blog from the master site to clean up something and forgot to re-enter my identity. Sorry Mark er I mean alaska robin.
By the way. . .the Word Verification is a definite necessity, but I find it amazing that sometimes even I can't distinguist the "q" from the "g" or the "u" from the "v". And find my comment being rejected.
The Bean is correct. I introduced Google Earth to the family about almost a year ago. I was so impressed at the time I even paid a fee for it - Google has since made it free. (It's amazing how they can do that - Google is amazing - I wish I owned some stock...)
And no, the photos are not real time. The Roseau photos are currently between 2 and 3 years old.
an answer to dan. I have messed up on the word verification before and it just loaded up another word so i could try again, and the post went through.
